What to Do at the End of Your Lease | 94 Nissan

October 9th, 2017 by

Auto leasing is very popular amongst drivers in the Chicago, IL area. It’s a great way to enjoy the latest Nissan models for low monthly payments. But while getting out the door with a lease is easy, for those who have never leased before, the process for returning the car isn’t always as clear. If your car lease is almost up, just follow the five easy steps outlined below.

Determine whether you’d like to purchase the vehicle you leased, lease a new vehicle, or simply return the vehicle. If you are interested in leasing or purchasing something new, head over to our online inventory to start checking out your options.
Schedule an inspection with the Alliance Inspection Management Center (AIM) to determine if there is any excess wear and tear that needs to be repaired. This inspection will not cost you anything, but is required and cannot be performed by the Nissan dealership. You can schedule your inspection by calling (800) 253-9026.
Make an appointment at 94 Nissan for 30 days before your auto lease ends.
Sign the Nissan lease termination paperwork. This will also serve as your receipt, so please make sure to collect a copy.
Pay any remaining charges, which can include but are not limited to a disposition fee, excess mileage fees, and unpaid parking tickets or toll violations associated with that car.
Do you have a question that isn’t answered here? Call (800) 982-0302 or fill out our contact form to speak with a member of the 94 Nissan team.
